Targeting |
Top Previous Next |
Our equation tools have the capacity to translate your equations into a number of standard equation formats that can then be pasted into other applications. We call this targeting.
For example, you can type this into FX Equation.
1/(sr(x2-4))
and have it produce the following LaTex commands.
\begin{equation}{\frac{1}{{\sqrt{{x}^{2}-4}}}}\end{equation}
that can be pasted into things like Moodle.
Targeting allows you to use the equation tools in far more contexts. The major restriction of Targeting is that it is one-way. You can use our equation tools to create targeted equations but any editing will need to be done in the target application. |
