The chemical equation tool uses curly brackets (braces) to produce nuclear chemistry equations.
For example:

It is important to note that the chemical equation tool does NOT check the validity of the mass numbers and atomic numbers. That is up to you. It does, however, give you a quick and easy way to produce the equations.
Neutrons, protons and electrons can be entered as follows:
